Notes BR RSL records as disposed to G. Cohen, Kettering 1974 but reportedly acquired as a chassis from Barrow Docks in 1981 (by FRT?) To Carnforth by 1985 and to Appleby by late 2008. 10/14 to Ribble Steam Railway by the Furness Railway Trust. Intention is to lengthen this underframe for use under the body of NLR "Birdcage" Brake (qv) also at this site. 08/17: that body is now supported on this underframe (see first additional photo below).
