Notes | Built by S J Claye (1 of order of 40). Sold out of service 1896 for £6. Chicken Shed at Long Stanton, Suffolk, till P 07/02. Earliest preserved horse box! Structural timber sound; ironwork present, and timber underframe. Restoration started 2009, completed and into service 05/14: available for passenger service - Groom's compartment; understood to be on BR Conflat underframe; now carries non-authentic M-SLR number 15 (GER number was 180). |
