Notes Approx date. Arrived from Carnforth 2008. This vehicle is one of two that were made to transport high class visitors round Crewe works. Later, they were only used on Fridays to take the pay boxes together with the paying out staff to every workshop on the works. The large pay boxes would be stacked up on the floor of each "cab" with the pay staff both standing and sitting on the bench seats.
